Lode Achten in Kasai

In this project, you will be able to explore some of the registers of the Belgian botanist Lode Théodore Achten (1883-1933). These documents contain valuable information about the herbarium specimens he collected during some of his expeditions in the present Democratic Republic of the Congo.

You will come across different types of registers: a map, am introductory text to the collection, tables, and a short biography of Achten. In what concerns the data (map and tables), please use the form table; for the texts, it is easier if you transcribe the text into the field "your notes". If you do wish to add your real personal notes, these can always be added in the end after the text.
